Program: Social Media — Power, Purpose, and Possibilities. In today’s digital world, every voice matters — and so does how you use it.
Our guest speakers, Tatiana Kyle (@taitianakyle), Jazmine Mangrum Payne (@jazminemangrum), and Kai Gibson (@kaigibson_), shared how they’ve transformed their online presence into platforms for
purpose — from activism and branding to creative careers. The session was interactive, empowering the Gems to design their own social media posts and explore how to use their voices to lead, create,
and inspire.
The Legislative Black Caucus of MD Senator Nathaniel Exum presents Youth Day at the Maryland State House, Annapolis, MD on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Youth Day provided approximately 14 of PRCs GEMs an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the power of civic engagement , as well as participate in practical exercises regarding how the MD General Assembly operates. #PRCGEMsRock, #PRCGEMsengagingandlearning

Links, Incorporated’s nationwide Impact Day of Service in communities nationwide.
On Saturday, November 2, 2024 The Patuxent River Chapter of the Links, Incorporated celebrated our 10th anniversary by hosting our 4th Biennial Masquerade as a "Dayla" or day party. From Noon to 4:00pm we gathered, dined, and danced at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Rockville, MD.
The Covid 19 Pandemic has affected life as we know it. The world paused, mourned, reevaluated, reassessed, and life as we know it morphed into a home-based, virtual environment. While we are still experiencing the effects of this global pandemic we are moving forward – reflecting on lessons learned, family, and relationships.
